I think upon the good things in life, such as...
...The smell of Billie's backyard when every single Azalea bush was filled with blooms...
...Taking walks with Gram and Grandy down to the corner store...
...Maw-Maw's blueberries...
...Gram's green beans...
...Going to Mobile with Billie and getting a McDonald's treat at the end of the day...
...Summers in Biloxi when Kristofer and I were very small...
...Christmas family gatherings back when the whole family actually got together for holidays...
...Playing tea-parties with Bo Peep...
...Hayrides with Dan, Doug, Dorene, Michelle, Lauren and Ryan...
...When the new sanctuary was built...
...My first day of school...
...The first time I went to the aquarium...
...Sea Camp with Margaret...
...When all of my nieces and little cousins were born...
...Going exploring in the woods with Lauren and Ryan...
...The County Fair...
...Trick-or-treating at Halloween...
...My loved ones who have gone on to their reward, and all of the memories we shared together.
For Gram and Grandy and for Maw-Maw. I love you, and I miss you.

DIY table

I recently re-covered a small computer table made by my Granddad-in-law. The table, though sturdy, was quite splintery and kept giving me uninvited wounds.
Granted it isn't the best job, but it only took twenty minutes to complete and on top of that, the fabric cost under seven bucks. I went to Joann fabric and purchased a remnant of vinyl. Then I laid the table face down on the vinyl, then cut the fabric to fit the table. I attached said vinyl using my handy-dandy stapler gun, then hammered the staples flat with a hammer.
The result was one snappy looking, slightly imperfect computer table with no splintery surface!
