Delphine 1, Yvan 0
All right, so here's a blast from the past....
During our school trip to Europe in '96, Paris was littered with advertisements for a movie called Delphine 1, Yvan 0. I've been unable to find it, subtitled or not, anywhere.
Now, I ask you this...who amongst you would not want to see this movie?????????????
I know I want to. You know you want to.
Someone please, for the love of Pete...help me find this movie so as to assist me in achieving a fourteen year old dream of seeing what could be the best ( or worst ) movie EVER!

Movies which might seem random but aren't really...
Whilst browsing through Netflix this evening, I was thrilled to find many not-as-often discussed films, both foreign and domestic:
Chambermaid on the Titanic, a 1997 French film starring Oliver Martinez ( Unfaithful ). Horty, a foundry worker, wins a trip to London to see the Titanic before she leaves for America. As part of his prize, he is awarded an overnight stay on board. As he is getting ready to go to bed, a Chambermaid named Marie asks to share his room. He agrees ( nothing happens between them ), however, once arriving home, Horty begins to tell a made-up story surrounding himself and the chambermaid, which grows and grows.
I first saw Chambermaid on Sundance back around 2003 and at that time, could only get a copy on VHS tape. I'm so glad to see not only is on DVD, but available to watch instantly on Netflix.
Tous Les Matins du Monde details the story of a young Marin Marais and his mentor, Monsieur de Sainte Colombe. It stars father and son Gerard and Gillaume Depardieu. I wasn't aware Gillaume passed away back in 2008 from pneumonia.
Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael. What dorky misfit didn't have this movie on their list? I will always associate Winona Ryder with Dinky Bossetti and Lydia Deetz ( Beetlejuice ).
